The AFL is the governing body for Australian Rule Football in Australia. The professional competition consists of 16 clubs from across Australia, and is by far the most popular sport in the country.
AFL Canada is the AFL endorsed, governing body of Australian football in Canada. Its accountable to its voting club members with reporting responsibilities to the AFL through the affiliation grant program.
AFLC is governed by an annually elected Executive group with appointment of Officers and National team managers at the Executive groups discretion. http://www.aflcanada.com/
The Northwind is the Canadian Men’s National Australian Football team which competes every three years in the International cup.
The Northern Lights is the Canadian Women’s National Australian Football team which competes every three years in the International cup.
